LET’s TALK ABOUT HOW YOU CAN GET A CUSTOM SET.

I wish I could make the whole world cookies. If you’d like to learn about the time it takes to make a set, read on process below the gallery. I’ve got a limited capacity on how much I can produce. So here’s how we can see if partnering is possible:

  • Send me snail mail. Why? I love mail. Address is 122 N. Wheaton #1006, Wheaton, IL, 60187.

  • It can be a letter, a postcard, parchment paper, or really whatever you’d like. Make it fancy. Make it simple. You do you.

  • Must haves

    • A way to contact you (phone, email, carrier pigeon route)

    • Amount of cookies you’re looking for

    • Who or what event the cookies are for

    • Theme or vision if you’ve got one

  • If you are selected for a custom set, I’ll reach out. If you’re not, I’ll still reach out to let you know so you can look for a different option!

  • Sets are available for local pickup only in Wheaton, IL.

  • 2 weeks prior to pickup, you’ll need to show me proof of donation (minimum $10/cookie) to one of the five organizations listed in ‘Causes.’

LET’S CHAT ABOUT COOKIE ARTISTRY.

So you think all cookies are created equal, except for your grandma’s. I get that. I want you to feel like you’re getting a fair trade for your donation. Here’s what it takes to make a decorated cookie, in terms of a typical 2 dozen set for me:

  • 1-2 hours of design. This excludes time spent thinking in the grocery store aisles, soccer sidelines, emergency room hallways, and while cooking dinner.

  • 2-3 hours of making dough, freezing dough, cutting/handcutting shapes, refreezing shapes, baking, cooling, and cleaning so my hubs doesn’t fuss at the mess.

  • 2-3 hours of making fresh icing, dying and mixing each color, making three icing consistencies per color, and cleaning so only my hands are left stained.

  • 6-10 hours (oh that I was kidding) to decorate depending on the complexity of the design. Turns out I haven’t figured out simple yet.

  • 1 hour running to the grocery store to grab what supply I inevitably forgot or panicking when I think I’ve created something ugly.

  • 0.5 hours taking photos/movies for posterity

  • 0.5 hours packaging
